Food Bank（フードバンク）
ご近所さんからJCI（Japanese Culture Institutes）からフードバンクっていうのがあって、もらって来たのよ〜。もしよかったらと箱のまま頂きました。いつも色々もらってすみません。
ちょうどオートミールを買いたい！と思ってたから嬉しい中身。さらにここからお裾わけしたいくらい盛りだくさんですね。
フードバンクというのは、
フードバンクとは、包装の傷みなどで、品質に問題がないにもかかわらず市場で流通出来なくなった食品を、企業から寄附を受け生活困窮者などに配給する活動およびその活動を行う団体。
とのこと。
こういう段ボールにまとめられた状態じゃなくて、ファーマーズマーケットみたいなところで果物とかをもらう感じのものもあるみたいです。
とにかくアメリカらしい素敵な試み！特に今はコロナで収入が減ってる方も多いので大助かりでしょうね。
